Get in a round of golf at the beautiful Mt Airy Golf Course just north of Dunlap!
Bring the kids for a bike rodeo with the folks from the Safe Cycling Initiative. We'll have a small course set up near the finish line where they can learn basic bike handling skills in a fun and safe environment!
Games @ the Finish Line
To help entertain families cheering on the cyclists at the finish line, we'll have games led by Step Up Sequatchie and a Bounce House for the kids!
After the festivities wind down at the finish line in Dunlap, they'll just be winding up in Pikeville with live music on Main Street!
SUNDAY FARM TOUR & LUNCH
Sequatchie Cove Farm Tour & Lunch
Known for their all-natural practices and top quality produce, meats and cheeses, a tour of Sequatchie Cove Farm is the perfect Sunday reward for Saturday's effort. Learn about the farm, sample their award-winning cheeses, and then enjoy a farm-fresh lunch in a beautiful setting. This special treat is limited to only 20 guests. Sunday, October 6th, 10:00-1:00 (central time). $65 per person. (You can add the tour to your registration by clicking here.)
South Cumberland plateau
The Cumberland Plateau is the largest remaining forested plateau in the continental United States, making it a nature-lover's dream! But the Plateau is more than just beautiful parkland. It is also home to some great communities with a rich cultural heritage, including Sewanee - the University of the South! South Cumberland State Park is made up of nine separate areas totalling close to 31,000 acres, making it Tennessee's largest state park. The parks include some of the most diverse and spectacular scenery in the eastern United States, including numerous waterfalls and the beautiful Fiery Gizzard Trail, ranked by Backpacker Magazine as one of the top 25 hiking trails in the United States!
Fall Creek Falls State Park is one of Tennessee’s largest and most visited state parks. Known primarily for its namesake 256-foot waterfall (one of the highest waterfalls in the eastern United States!), it also includes Piney Falls, Cane Creek Falls and Cane Creek Cascades, along with gorgeous vistas, lush stands of virgin hardwood timber, and a lake. It also has rental cabins, excellent camping facilities, a swimming pool, and zip-lining!
