Our Team

The Cycle Sequatchie Century & 3 Mtn Challenge is a joint production of Tennessee Gravel and the Chattanooga Bicycle Club made possible by the generous support of our partners and volunteers. Our goal with the event is to bring attention to Sequatchie Valley as an amazing outdoor recreation playground and to support the efforts of Thrive Sequatchie to promote sustainable and responsible tourism in the region.

Support the cause through financial sponsorship or volunteer work during the event!

PRIMARY PARTNERS

The Land Trust for Tennessee

Land Trust for TN.jpg

Our goal is to help preserve what makes Sequatchie Valley such a special place, which is why we've partnered with the Land Trust for Tennessee since we first started this event in 2019. Since 1999, they have conserved more than 126,000 acres across our beautiful state, and have made this region a priority for future conservation efforts.

Dunlap Chamber.jpg

This event would not be possible without the generosity of our hosts at the City of Dunlap and the Sequatchie County - Dunlap Chamber of Commerce. Big thanks to all of the communities throughout the Valley for their support in making Cycle Sequatchie happen!

The Fields

The Fields.jpg

With groundbreaking planned for 2022, The Fields is a new fly-in residential community that will be built on 1,500 acres between Dunlap and Pikeville on the west side of Sequatchie Valley. Later phases of the development will include an outdoor adventure center (including MTB trails!), equestrian park, winery, brewery, spa, cliffside restaurant, and boutique hotel. As a way to introduce themselves, the generous folks from The Fields are buying the beer for our cyclists!

Citizens Tri County.jpg

While Citizens Tri-County Bank has grown to serve 9 counties throughout southeast and middle Tennessee, it remains locally owned and operated just as it was when it was founded in Dunlap in 1972. When you put on your free Cycle Sequatchie t-shirt, you can thank Citizens Tri-County for picking up the tab!

Lyndhurst Foundation

Lyndhurst.jpg

In addition to showing off what an incredible outdoor recreation playground Sequatchie Valley is, we also want this event to support those who make this valley so special. That's why we are committed to serving a farm-to-table meal that is 100% locally sourced from family farms in Sequatchie Valley and the Cumberland Plateau. Buying from local farms and serving a farm-fresh meal adds considerable cost to this grassroots event, but thanks to the generosity of the Lyndhurst Foundation, we'll be able to support our local farmers and also provide our cyclists and their friends and family with a fantastic Farmers Feast!

Village Volkswagen

Village Volkswagen.jpg

With their history of supporting cycling in the Chattanooga region, Village Volkswagen is the perfect title sponsor for this year's Three Mountain Challenge. Conquer any of the climbs and you'll receive a commemorative prize provided by Village Volkswagen!

Tower Community Bank

White Oak.jpg

Special thanks to the fine folks at the White Oak Bicycle Co-op for leading our free 2-mile kids ride on Dunlap's Coops Creek Greenway (Saturday morning at 9:15). With their expertise in bike safety, the kids will get some great tips in how to cycle safely while on the ride!

Carla Calitz Massage

Sag Stop Service

While former Cycle Sport owner, Aaron Curtis, may not turn wrenches in the bike shop anymore, he still works on bikes through his new SAG STOP SERVICE mobile Bicycle Repair Business. He also does an amazing job coordinating our SAG support vehicles while driving sweep at Cycle Sequatchie each year.

Benchmark Physical Therapy
